The first Intersect by Lexus luxury brand experience space outside Japan opened this week in Dubai, UAE.

Intersect by Lexus goes well beyond the concept of a dealership or traditional retail space, offering guests a unique luxury space where they can experience and immerse themselves in the Lexus brand without getting behind a steering wheel.

The first Intersect by Lexus opened in Tokyo's Minami Aoyama district in August 2013.

Intersect by Lexus Dubai is located in the heart of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), offering both a relaxing and stimulating space for guests seeking luxury lifestyles enriched by design, art, fashion, culture, film, music and technology.

The Dubai space is composed of two floors.

The lower floor features a garage and exhibition space for Lexus concept vehicles and art installations, while the upper provides a lounge, restaurant, library lounge, and a store for Crafted for Lexus lifestyle items.

Both Intersect by Lexus experience spaces were designed by Masamichi Katayama, the world renowned designer and founder of interior design firm Wonderwall.

Mr Katayama has previously worked on the Uniqlo global flagship stories in New York and Japan, OZONE bar and lounge at Hong Kong's Ritz Carlton and Thom Browne New York's flagship store in Aoyama.
